KB120420171203 -Cannot login into 'Creator'

When trying to login through the 'Creator' and experience the following;

  • Invalid username/password
  • Cannot connect  to server due to certificate error or incorrect DS Manager path


There are number of factors which can cause this;

  1. Ensure the username/password credentials have been added within the 'User Management' module within the DS Manager
    • You can also test the login credentials are OK by logging into the portal from the web browser. For example https://   <server IP or Hostname>
  2. Ensure the URL path within 'General Settings' is valid and correct. 


  3. Temporarily disable any antivirus/firewall software which may be blocking traffic       through port 443
